Still having electric issues
OK I am completely stumped. My 78 GL 1000 lost all turn signal functionality lights everything replaced the left control switch now my turn signal left will turn on the right will not turn on the headlights and tail lights will not come on. I am including pictures of the hacked up wiring that was done before I owned it. I think it might be a short but not sure where to look anymore.

The only option you have is to walk true it with the orininal wiring scheme. I know it takes a lot of time, and while you are at it clean all your connectors with a contact spray. I have to do mine 1978 k2 this winter, it runs but the electric wiring is raped by the previous owner. Seems that lots of people are colourblind, i have got a lot of grey wires in it. Good luck!
