F4+2 Tinted Windshield?

Post by Big Bob »

I just purchased and installed this windshield on my 06 gl1800. I went with the tinted windshield because I had a Tulsa extra tall tinted windshield on my 1500, my concern is this new windshield seems to be a darker tint than the Tulsa. Look's great, but my concern is night driving. Does anyone else have a F4, tinted who can give me your opinion, comments, etc. Have a great day!

F4 +4, tinted/vented here for some time now. No worse than looking through a cages tinted windshield. Sure does cut the glare of on coming headlights at night for my 74yr old eyes!
BTW, just so you know. your color (06 Gl1800 Dark Cherry Red) noted in your post is actually called Cabernet Red Metallic. I have the same color!

Thanks tfdeputydog, curiosity was killing this cat and l took it out for a quick spin tonight, after dark. No issues with seeing, and yes at 60 and one eye with a cataract the tinting isn't to bad. Also thanks I did see the color is cabernet red metallic!
