Honda no longer listing critical parts

Post by gre_lauren » Thu Jun 13, 2019 7:35 pm

I went to my local stealer website to look up parts (oil seal and o-rings) to fix a oil leak from my water pump. I know how to fix it but honda suddenly stopped listing critical parts such as seals and o rings for the gl1200. Now there is only a fraction of part numbers on the online fiche. What the hell happened? How am I going to keep my wing running?

I know i can get an oring kit for the transmission cover but 2 critical parts are missing from most kits; the oil seal between the oil pump and water pump (mine is leaking oil through the weep hole) and the thick oring right next to the oil pump for the oil discharge.

can someone help?

George

after some intense internet searching i was able to source the parts.

I think i posted too soon. My apologies

Still it seems that mother honda drastically stopped listing parts.

Try Partzilla.com. Looks like they still have a lot of parts.

Those who say it cannot be done should try not to interrupt those who are doing it.

Recently had the oil seal fail on my water pump. Replaced the water pump while I had it torn apart. Cyclemax had the complete gasket O ring kit and water pump.
