I need the instructions for hooking my recently received GPS Input Device up to my 86 goldwing aspencade. Where can I find them?

The GPS Input is designed for the GL1500 and GL1800 - the connector on it is not the same as is found on the GL1100 and GL1200. It is electrically compatible, but you would have to cut the connectors off of the GPS Input and solder on a pair of 5-pin DIN connectors (one male, one female) in their place in order to get it to work. Alternately, you could modify your existing pigtail (the cable that plugs into the component terminal box in the bike on one end, and your helmet cable pugs into the 5 pin DIN connector on the end) by cutting it open and splicing into the wires.

If you feel capable of doing that, I can look up the wires and connectors you would need to modify.
