Ok, owned bikes all my life, just bought a Goldwing. Has a few issues, disclosed, and I love to wrench. Wondering if anyone has had this problem, and can steer me in a possible solution as I get to know this new ride.
Had to jump the battery...it was marked "good" by AutoZone this past January. But if I leave her running, engine will shutdown. I'm pretty sure battery is OK.... But something is causing her to shut off. Dying to ride her, but gotta solve this first!! Thanks for assisting!

Start with the simple stuff first. Connect a volt meter to the battery and start the bike. Watch the voltmeter. What does it read when the engine dies?

Thanks for the volt meter suggestion. Will see if I can borrow one tonight...
