You will not be disappointed with your visit to Shanksville, PA, to see the Flight 93 Memorial. I have been out there several times, most recently 2019. The place had really changed from my first visit when all that was there was the Remembrance Fence with memorials and patches from all over the world fastened to the fence.

sounds like you've been to shanksville about as many times as i have. my last visit was in '16

Rooms have been blocked for August 25-29 under the group GWDOC.
Discounted room rate is $93/night. Each room has two (2) queen sized beds so get a roomie and the cost is cut in half.
It is suggested that you make reservations now as rooms will fill quickly. Rooms will be held till July 25, and then released. It will be first come, first served after that date. Cancellations may be made without penalty if done by August 24, 2021.

Lots of amenities:
Free Wi-Fi, Free breakfast, Plenty of parking for bikes and trailers, Indoor pool (bring your trunks), Air-conditioned rooms.

I have always thought there was a reason for the first four letters of the word analyst being appropriate. Just wanted to confirm the timing of the 5 th annual:

Wednesday, Aug. 25 - Folks arrive and settle in. Some rides for those close.
Thursday, Aug. 26 - Full day of riding.
Friday, Aug. 27 - Full day of riding.
Saturday, Aug. 28 - Full day of riding.
Sunday, Aug. 29 - Folks depart. Some rides for those close.

Does this seem about right?

Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

That's correct Jim. Hopefully the border will be open by then. If not, ship yourself in a box and come via FedEx!

Actually occupancy refers to the number of people staying in a room, not the room rate. That is, double occupancy refers to two people staying in a room, not necessarily only one bed. Blocked rooms have two (2) queen size beds. So for clarity, $93 per night per room.

I'm interested. I've book a TWO-BED ROOM, cancelable reservation for the two nights at the Lynchburg Country Inn and shortened up my reservation in Wise one night. (dropped the night of the 24th)

If it's the $100 "The Vault-Taste of Lynchburg Tour" , it's not given on Tuesdays. It's a Thursday-Sat tour.

Their website suggests we make a reservation but,... I saw a list of tours, for about 2 seconds, then that page blipped off and I can't find a list of tours anywhere other than the one your link took us to and like I said, it's only available Thurs-Sat. Since you obviously have been there before I'll let you check it out for us if you would.
