Good morning fellow Wingers,
I regret to inform you that Cheri and I will not be able to attend this year. Our family keeps growing (our 20th grandchild made his debut in late June), as do our commitments with them. We enjoyed celebrating Cheri’s birthday with you all last year, but our kids are insisting on her presence this year. We will miss the friends we made on the previous trips and Lord willing we will be able to attend next year.

What’s the weather forecast looking like there? Asking for a friend (or 10).
A man with one watch knows exactly what time it is...
A man with two watches is never quite sure.

One forcast I saw this evening had low chances of rain all 5 days. Another one had medium chances of rain. I just go prepared either way and hope for the best. I stopped allowing weather to dictate my riding times because I cannot ride all year. Got to take the good with the bad. Beats snow!

Made it to Indianapolis. Thanks all (again)
Spent 2 hours at Iron Pony Motorsports. Fun way to wind down from a great week.
And enough windshield time to decide I will NOT be opening a radiator repair shop (unless Jim wants to go half on a tire/radiator combo)
See y’all next year.

Arrived home about 4:00, got the Wing off the trailer about 5, and took Liz home and unloaded her bike. Now, I have to go do that dirty four-letter-word thing tomorrow that starts with W.
It was great seeing every one again! looking towards next year.

Arrived back in Springboro about 4pm Sunday. It was great to meet all of you on my first-time group ride. My thanks to Brian, Al, and Jim for helping to make this year such a success. As a newbee and solo rider I never realized until now what I have been missing! Hope to see all of you again next year!

Dave, Bob, and I pulled into Bob’s around 6:45. Huge shout out to Weekend biker (Charlie) for his excellent map drawing and avoiding the Indy construction! Thanks also to Dave and Jen for letting us ride with them to Columbus and showing us the best way to 70 west.
Great group of people as always. “You meet the nicest people on a Honda” LOL! Accolades to our fearless leaders Emmert, Al, Brian, and Jim.
Hope to see everyone next year!

Well, we’re back home in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada this morning. We took US219 all the way from Elkins WV to Ellicottville NY where we stayed for the night before travelling the last 3 hours home this morning. 800km in total. Thank you all for welcoming Helen and I to your gathering and our hats off to the organizing group for pulling off such a great event. See you next year.
Cheers,
Allan and Helen.

Hi all,
Tried to post this earlier but it seems to have disappeared so I apologize if it appears twice.
Terry and I arrived back in Niagara on the Lake around 5:45 Sunday afternoon to a lovely meal and some bottles of wine. The wait at the Peace Bridge border crossing was 54 minutes for those without a Nexus card. After about 10 minutes of walking the bike to the bottom of the funnel where we could see the booths, I zoomed over to the Nexus booth and was through in about a minute. I went over to the right, removed my jacket and helmet and waited the 45 minutes for Terry to walk his bike up the one of the general admission (aka cattle) booths to get back into Canada. I think Terry might actually be convinced to pry open his wallet (hear the creaking sound?) and apply for a Nexus card. IMHO opinion, if you use it once a year it is well worth the investment.
Wanted to say, again, how much I enjoyed the rides even with having a flat tire. A BIG THANK YOU once again to the folks that helped me (Dave, Mike, Allan, Randy, Jeff, Terry, Wayne... apologize if I missed anyone) for helping me limp back to the hotel. I already have a list of things to add to my bike including a new pump, charger, and set of tire plugs. If anyone has any brand / model suggestions, they would be much appreciated. Some of you mentioned certain brands but bourbon seems to have clouded my memory.
I am already missing all the folks that attended this year's 6 th annual gathering and am looking forward to next year's 7 th gathering. Since I seem to have been appointed social secretary for the group, so please let me know if you have inspired, or not so inspired, suggestions to improve the social aspects of next year's ride. I shall be asking folks who register for next year's ride to email or pm me their first and last names, Goldwing docs handle, email address, cell phone number so we can keeps folks better informed during the gathering.
If anyone has any rides planned within 500 km (that's about 300 miles for you numerically challenged 'mericans ) before the beginning of October, please let me know. I think the boss will let me go on 1 more ride before we head to Arizona for the winter.
If anyone wants to visit us here in beautiful Niagara on the Lake, we have 2 spare bedrooms and would love to welcome you, with some advance notice of course. Terry can attest to how gracious my lovely wife is.
Enjoy the rest of the summer and fall, stay safe, and remember to keep the shiny side up.
Cheers,
Jim Baird aka BPMJim

Boostmi Pro Multifunctional Jump Starter. 18000mAh. Available at Costco Online @$119. I’ve had mine for about 4 years now and it still performs.
There are a ton of them out there but what’s important is that you select one that is a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery chemistry.

Sounds like you all had a great Gathering! I unfortunately postponed retirement and took a job in Indiana. Will not happen again next year! Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Too many projects are interfering with my riding time!

azabransky (Alan Zabransky) here. I pulled into the driveway today at 3:00pm Chicago time. From Elkins I made a side trip to Lynchburg, TN to pick-up some VERY special Jack Daniels. Jim, if you liked the Uncle Nearest, you'd REALLY like this stuff. Total 2664 miles (4288km for those using that antiquated numbering system) for the week. Brian, Al and Em and any other organizers I forgot to mention: Another great year with amazing roads. I'm already planning and look forward to next year's event.
I am also interested in the items mentioned to get Jim back on the road. Plug kits, inflator, etc.
I'll send all my photos to Brian in a .zip file for posting.
