Hello, i am not sure of replacing my hazard switch and am asking if I can replace the 35800 MCA 043 with the 35800 MCA A61. They look the same but I am not sure what is the difference. Is this just an updated replacement for the same switch on my 2002 GL1800 or is there a difference with the connector or something?? Thanks for any replies.

Re: Replacement hazard switch
Sorry ... I'm not sure if one can be swapped out for the other. The connectors are the same, they fit the same, and look the same. It's possible that the harness on the 06-10 is a little longer.
Here at JustWings, we remove, disassemble, clean, and lube the 4-way switch all the time with good success. However, sometimes they get damaged when someone uses a pick trying to pry out on the 4-way switch to get it to switch off.

Re: Replacement hazard switch
Anybody got a 35800-MCA-043 for a decent price? This one fits on the left side with headlight control, hazard switch, and suspension control. I can still use mine but, have to wedge a thin nylon washer in the hazard switch to keep them on for veteran's funeral escorts. Thanks
