Hi guys, i'm new to this place and would like to tell you this place R-O-C-K-S...!!!
Ok, so here is my need....my friends father had a little accident with his GL1500 1992, nothing to terrible but still we need to replace few parts on his bike and i wonder how to get throught the dissasembly process as i never worked on any Goldwing before, but i'm pretty good at mechanic.
Here's the deal...i need to remove these parts and wonder how and where to start with the dissambly process:
1-Front fender+front chromed brake disk cover
2-Complete front fairing needs to be changed (and it seems a lot of work since it contains a lot of stuff)
...more specifically the damage was done on the part that goes from one side to the other just below the headlight.
3-The complete rear plastics including both of the side trunks lockers
Briefly....i need to basically almost teardown all the esthetic on the bike, so that damaged panels be replaced et repaintes to match.
So if you can help me out on where to start with, i would greatly appreciate your help.
P.S: I am NOT doing this repair for money....rather to help my friends as a service, so i am not asking info to make money on that.
Thanks a lot guys...!
Best Regards.

Re: Need info GL1500 1992
Also if anyone could help me to get my hands on a 1992 service manual, or at least the part that helps to disassemble and re assemble the front fairing and components, that would really help me out too.
Thanks again, today i am goind to look at the rear side trunks/lockers and front wheel fender and brake disk cover as these seems to be more easy to get removed....i will be looking at this message today many times to see if you guys have any inputs that could help me out.
CIAO...!
