Clairon type I radio I-Pod hook up??

I have an 81 GL 1100 with a type I radio/cb. I was wondering if anyone knows if an I-Pod can be hooked up into it or the amplifier (with minimal effort)?? Anyone done this???

Not sure how that would work but.....If you are not married to the idea of keeping the stock components....think about this. I went to my local Brandsmart store and bought a Kenwwod radio / CD Player and Kicker speakers for my 83 Interstate. It cost me about $125. The sound is amazing! The radio is Pandora ready so I can plug in my iphone and get phone calls / text and email message alerts through the speakers while I listen to music while riding. ipod would work just as well. I bit of 2013 technology for the old girl.
