I have dropped my wing twice, both in the same weekend. Was still getting used to riding a big cruiser coming from a CB750. Went to Barber Vintage Fest last year with it and while finding a camp site in the tent lot (which is one big uneven slope) my wife and I went down. Couldn't see that the ground was a lot lower on the left side then the right put my left foot down and down we went.

The second time we were leaving the track, by then the fuel pump was dying and it was almost impossible to get rolling from a stop without a lot of clutch feathering and throttle work. Was rolling slow under part throttle had to almost stop then tried to get rolling quick but the throttle didn't respond while starting the turn and down we went again. Picked it back up and fought our way back home.

My wife is still gunshy about riding it with me. I've had a lot more time with it (and it runs properly now) and I'm much more confident with it, just gotta get the wife back out with me.

I’ve had 3. The 75 has had 2, both times someone had stopped me to talk about the bike and I forgot the side stand was up. The third incident involved a 250 Honda helix turning onto a highway at 5mph and there was gravel in the road. My nephew on the back thought it was hilarious! Not a scratch on me, him, or the scooter.
