Just received my trailer isolator this morning, going to install it tomorrow or next week, already have a round 5 pin plug, so I’ll try that to start, still looking for a decent trailer at a decent price
I could never get all the wires hooked up in those round connectors. They are made for tiny wires, and the wires from the trailer side are all about 14 or 16 guage. I put the round connector parts away somewhere and bought a flat 4 connector.

It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Ok, so the isolator is connected to the bike, now the headache of connecting it to the plug, I decided to keep the round 5 pin connector that came with the hitch, but the wires don’t match the colors of the ones from the isolator.
I have brown, blue, gren, orange and red on the isolator end and brown, black, yellow, red and green on the connector end, not sure what to connect to what, anyone have any ideas?
