Realistically, you can not go wrong with a Pencil Tire Pressure Gauge like the Milton 921 or the 920 with the built in tread depth gauge.
Inexpensive. It goes in the shirt pocket, or any space large enough to put a ball point pen and they do not require batteries.
Both are available from Amazon for under $7.

I mostly use my tpms that I got from cyclemax but the tire gauge is nice and easy to use and very accurate with the tpms.

https://shop.slime.com/products/digital ... -5-150-psi
the TPMS that I bought from CycleMax 3 years ago, is within 1/2 pound of the reading from my AccuGuage from CycleMax....

I don't even bother to put a manul gauge on my 1800's tires.
over the 3 years, and testing the TPMS once a year, it has always been "dead on"

kind of neat that it reads temperature, but with the sensors being a "Valve Cap", not sure how accurate that is?

Was given one of these years ago by a friend who owned a motorcycle shop.
This one is probably 10 years old and still working great.

I use a two way like this one, only digital. Like the one in the video on this page, except a two way head like the picture. My bike's valves are 90 degree angled, but I can get to my stems on my Harley wheels as well, with the back angled head. My Harley has straight stems.

that is just one that was dropped.
I have the same gauge now for 10 years, and it has survived many a drop, and is still working just like new.

handy as a pocket on a shirt, the option you suggest is useless without an air tank,
and can't be carrried in the trunk easily.

I use a Ryobi 18V inflator but my Motor Trike has a neat cubby hole space in the trunk behind each wheel so storage space is not a problem.

The one I suggested actually works perfectly without being connected to an air tank/compressor. If it is not connected, it functions just as a normal pressure gauge. If connected to an air tank/compressor, it can also be used to control/fill the tire.

Don’t think I’ve ever dropped it and it’s pretty accurate. I do like the one you have in the attachment.
