Seeking assistance with Rtn trip- Nova Scotia thru USA to --

Post by chads920 » Tue May 22, 2018 9:27 am

My wife and I along with other Riders (20) will end our Military Police Rally ride for visually impaired children on the 24 Aug this year in Newfoundland. A couple of riders will then head off on a 4 corners route back to Victoria BC and the wife and I with a buddy want to drop down into Maine and travel West and re enter at Niagara Falls. I would apprieciat suggestions on a route to include the Adirondack Mtn Park. Looking at the Motor Carrier road Atlas is somewhat confusing and daunting as I would enjoy at the "route less traveled" but this will be late August early Sept (labour day) time period.
Also need a "Shipping Drop Point" in the USA for tires (trailer and bike) close to the US /Can boarder as Buddy will need a tire change soonest if anyone (along the route) can help out. Thanks Dale

Can't help with the trip through the US but change your tires before you leave, one less thing to do on route.

I decided to utilize the Travel Planing option offered with membership. I called the service office about 10 days ago and requested a route from Nova Scotia to Buffalo through New York State. Lots of questions answered but no info received yet. Has anyone else had any experience with this Trip Planning service? I have misplaced the Ph # now so I can't check back...

Just returned from a cross Canada and USA road trip in excess of 19000 Km over a 7 week period. Good to be hame again. No problems with our 93 trike and a great experience with out 2016 Bunkhouse Queen MC trailer. Lots of miles (km) and lots of people along the way.

Good to hear your trip went well and the bike cooperated. Would have liked to be on it. Starting to plan one for next year. Cheers

Check out the Military Police National Relay Ride for Blind Children (MPNRR) 2018 web page and or Face Book site. Cathy and I participated this year leaving for Esquimalt on the 29 th July ending in St Johns NF on the24 Aug. Great ride, great people and wonderfully planned and executed.

That is the #1 option. Have two others who are considering.
