You may be right about the stator possibly not being the problem but I still wanted to change it out, next I will go through and check all the connections again, especially around the regulator, have also thought there still could be a bad ground somewhere.

Hello again, now that I am back on track with the engine for my bike I have a question about the engine on my spare bike,I am wanting to get the stator off of it also but it seems to stuck on,could I use a little heat on the back of the cover to make it expand or what would you guys recommend on how to unstick it,I assume it is stuck on from having sat in a storage unit for many years.

Hi,I have a question, again!!!,I am putting the stator back in my spare engine and before I went ahead and stuck it back on I turned the case over and poured some oil inside the case then watched it for a few minutes checking for leaks and it seems to be leaking oil around the rubber that the wires go thru, don't want to have to get another stator just for that, any ideas on how to seal that area, thanks. :D

Hi,this is more for a person on here that had this problem, can't remember who it was but any way he was wanting to find an easier way to remove the lower engine mounting bolts,I think this will work for him and anyone else that is needing to remove the engine, what I did was use a closed ended 19 MM wrench that was shaped in an S pattern and put it on the nut on the front then a 17MM socket on the bolt and tightened it all up.
