How do you calibrate antenna on a factory Wing C.B.? Need help. it's a 2001. :(

You need an SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) meter that will plug into your lead in just under the back seat, then you put your cb on channel 01 and key the mike to read the signal, then on channel 40 to do the same. Adjust the top part of the antenna to get as close to zero on the meter as you can get on both 1 and 40 and tighten the set screw to anchor the top whip into the center load. The problem is that if you are standing next to the bike to do this, it will throw the SWR off, so you need long leads on the meter to get your body away from the antenna.

You click on the "How To" section for GL1800, and then click on How to tune your CB antenna SWR (GL1800) :)
