I believe the display is for the CB, it's not on mine and I don't have a CB

certainly a strange one, never seen a cb unit like that it doesnt look like the OEM one, on the other hand its hard to think what else it could be because of where its situated as thats where the OEM one goes. if its a cb, up just to the right of the left hand pocket, there will be a 5 pin connector on a short lead, this where the headset would normally be plugged into.

it thats there I would hazard a guess at an earlier style cb unit.

sorry no much help.

Looked around, but could not find a similar install. This is the Honda CB unit on my '85 LTD:

No problem. I tool the unit out today and at the back of the top display there is A holder for double A battery so ita definitly no CB🤔🤓 the bottom one is somehow connected with the top one iTS all kind of strange. I think i Will be looking out for A compleet CB unit To put in.

Maybe it's power for memory? It looks a lot like a CB from face pic.

Defenitley (sorry for my poor english text) its no cb. I've taken out the unit and behind the display's there are mounted battery holders witch are modified from AA battery to 9V battery's.
