EC LED Headlight Competition

Post by AwesomeAndy » Sun Sep 02, 2018 7:01 pm

Hi, Happy to post this note in order to go in for the draw for the EC LED headlight set. I am located in NewZealand and own a 2014 GL1800 which suffers from poor lighting, upgrading to a set of the new EC LED headlights would be amazing.
Regards
Andrew ;)

I'm really interested in putting a set of these on my 94 1500.

I'm running some low cost LED headlight bulbs that I found on Ebay at the moment.
They sure are bright.
But I wouldn't mind having a set of the expensive ones to compare them to.
George in Jersey.

Checked out the cost of ordering a set of the EC LED headlights, currently on backorder @ Amazon. I did enjoy the review video and the instructions as to how to install them. Also enjoyed article in the Sept. newsletter about the JIS screwdriver. Already placed an order for one, but not before rounding down the head of a screw with a Phillips head screwdriver. If I had only read the article 5 days ago.

Yes, apparently the article on the site caused Amazon to sell out of the headlights. :) I expect they'll have more soon...

I have changed some of my 1982 GL1100 lights to LED and now looking at driving lights replacement and headlight. Good luck to everyone.

Installed HID's on my 06 many many years ago and they are excellent for the open roads we have in this area. But they are bulky and somewhat difficult to repack when on occasion I've have to remove a ton of plastic. Replaced my turn, running, and brake lights with LED last year. And because of the great write up on the EC LED's. The obvious next step is the big boys up front!
