Colour code

Post by Robbie1968 » Sat Oct 06, 2018 3:19 am

Hi guys, wandering if anyone can help with the paint code for my bike. It was painted using a dark grey from a 2 tone finish offered on the gl1100 or 1200. I have found 2 options tempest grey or nimbus grey, but have no idea which one.
The bike was originally painted in a deep red, so finding the colour from the vin number is not an option.

Thanks

Hi thanks for the reply. I seen the list, just trying to figure out which one is the dark grey on my bike.

Well, kinda thought that was what you were saying but all is good. Use to have those paint analyzers at the automotive paint stores where they scan your paint. Like what you have done to the black accents of different pieces. Would look good with a standard maybe + 1 smoked windshield. Just saying...

Good idea about the screen. I had to black powder coat a lot of the chrome as it was too far gone to save. Thanks for the feed back
