Wow, the ST1100 is history! Sure hope you took the time to ride through the Cuyahoga Valley, that's right next door to that BMW shop, and is some fine, twisty, hilly riding. It's about 15 minutes from my house, fortunately. :)

the top heavy feel is due to how tall the bike is, weight wise it's about 530lbs. as for zip I'll have to get back with you next weekend when I bring it home, remember I rode the Mighty ST 1300 down to look at it

well the weather wasn't so good yesterday and it was even worse going home so all I did was hop back on I-480 and run into constantly changing weather on the ride home on the Mighty ST 1300

It was great in the morning! Sunny and beautiful, 60 degrees! You just chose the wrong time to come! :)

Hopefully it will be better for you next weekend...

54º and dropping when I arrived and the wind and rain were close behind. I knew we would most likely have bad weather once I got back in Michigan, the weather guessers had been talking about it most of last week

well the GSA has plenty of power but the gearing is on the short side even with the 6speed trans. like an 1000 - 1200 wing the big GSA likes to be reved up. took a few miles to get a feel for it but it actually handles quite well, right now the limiting factor is the seat but I plan on getting a sargent seat for it by spring. bought a wolfman exploterlite tank bag for the GSA and sprayed it down with camp dry so it's waterproof now and the bag installed today, my first farkle

How is the bike on power? It runs the seat with no problem?

the alternator is plenty big to run the heated seat, a friend has the same seat on his GSA
