Yeah, I looked at that Harbor Freight table. Too many bad reviews on hydraulic leaks and other assorted problems. I can probably get away with a 1,000 lb table, but a new one just isn't in my budget. If I can't find a used one I'm going to repair and reinforce my homemade table.

Re: WTB lift table
I've used my HF table for the past 7 years with no issues. No hydraulic leaks and no mishaps. There are two things that must be done immediately after you purchase: 1) check the fluid level in the jack and top it off, because it's usually quite low. 2) spend the money on a good front wheel vise. The one from HF is flimsy and useless.
I have no idea if the ones HF is selling now are the same or more cheaply made than mine, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. It's been a real back saver for me.

Re: WTB lift table
I have had my HF table for about a year.
Yes fill the bottle jack up with fluid.
I have had no problems with mine either. I would recommend it to others. The front tire chock is good and holds the front wheel in place.
I made some foot boards so I can ride the bike up and not fall over.
