Does anyone have any idea where I can source a starter motor for my 85 Gold Goldwing?
Beautiful bike, but I am dead in the driveway.

You can probably get one through your local Honda dealer as an aftermarket starter. You can also take the one off your bike, take it apart, clean it, new brushes and it will probably last for quite a while.

When you replace your starter you will have to take out the exhaust stud closest to the starter or the starter will not come out. New exhaust o-rings are recommended.

Total Parts Canada, $107.00 can free shipping in Canada. Not sure about US shipping.

Here's the site: https://www.totalpartscanada.com/produc ... -hs41.html Good price for a starter - may have to order one for spare. Bookmarked site.

They also sell starter rebuild kits and the mini denso alternators at a good price with free shipping in Canada. :D

Is the CA, Canada or California? Try Denis Kirk in the USA.
