Stuck Two Stroke Piston

I picked up two 1991 Kawasaki KE100s today for my grandsons. They are in excellent condition and I got them for $200 total. One of the bikes have a piston that is stuck and I'm wondering how best to get it loosened up. I read about this in the past but never have had the problem before. Can't imagine it would be any different than a four stroke????

Pour some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinder and let it set for a few days. Pull the head and GENTLY tap on the piston with a light hammer using a chunk of wood as a "go between". This will only work as long as the piston is NOT at TDC or bottom of stroke.

I suppose the first thing i'd try is mix 50% atf and 50% acetone....remove the spark plugs and and pour in a shot glass full into the cylinder..put the plug back in loose..Let it set for a couple of days...Put the bike in top gear and to rock it back and may free up.

I know the feeling. Got a '66 Honda 90 for free in 1975. Wife didn't want the kids near it. I was a rider in my youth, but sold 'em all when I got married. Stuck this Honda 90 out back of the shed (outdoors). It sat there 40 years. Kids grown, and my wife died after a wonderful 51 yr marriage. I needed a winter project. Brought the Honda inside. Piston seized. Took the head off (overhead cam... very advanced for a '66). Couldn't split the case till I got the cylinder off, but piston stuck inside the cyl prevented its removal. Lots of penetrating PB Blaster, A little heat on the outside (not too much), and the hammer + block of wood. Piston was near TDC. Once the piston moved at all, it was just a matter of working it a bit more and it came out. Cylinder was usable, but new piston & rings were needed.
