Bolts

Post by alanc1100 » Sat Dec 01, 2018 7:42 pm

Hi all, I have recently got my 86 Aspencade back together and I have somehow misplaced or lost the two mounting bolts for the left mirror.
Anyone know the Honda part numbers and if they still are available? My local Honda shop is closed until Tuesday, so if anyone knows where to source them, I would highly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

Allan Carroll

part numbers are 88114 mg9 680 and 88115 mg9 770 respective although it looks like they are not available anymore, I always found them to be a mission to get them out, felt like I needed 12 hands, so I replaced them with a long bolt same thread, and philips head. put a few washers on the bolt greased it and screwed them in. been there ever since, and so much easier to get out when needed.

If I ever take mine out again, gonna use all thread socket button head screws and use a ball end hex on them, to allow angle.
