can the seals be replaced without pulling the cams? tks.

Yes you can leave the cams in place.

just replaced the belts and idler bearings and didn't want to have to disturb those. thanks much! :)

well, figured I would replace the valve seals this afternoon and button it back up in the morning. removed the spark plugs and rocker covers. removed the 6 bolts holding the left rocker arm shaft. imagine my surprise when the shaft assy would not come off without getting into the front of the engine. bolted things back together, adjusted all the valves again and buttoned it up. doing a Wreathes Across America escort and a wreathe laying later in the week and need my bike. valve seals will have to wait.
