It's a seat for a 1998 through 2000 GL1500 but it doesn't look like it is in very good shape.

The "driver" seat smacks of the PO "shaving" down the foam to make it easier to put both feet down. Then he just put the OEM seat cover back on and stapled it in the same places as before without stretching it tight. That seat would normally look as "smooth-and-tight" as the passenger seat looks.

1988 thru 2000 GL 1500 I think

As the owner of a '99 1500, I can say that it definitely is a 1500 seat.

Thanks for your replies, I was 99.9% sure it was 1500 but 2nd opinions never hurt.
