USA Trailer Store

Post by edaddy0 » Sat Mar 02, 2019 2:47 pm

Has any had any dealings with the USA Trailer Store in SC, and has any bought a trailer from them? I am looking at the Lumina Diamond XL to pull with my GL1500.

They sell Chinese knockoff trailers that are low quality and there have had many complaints against the company handling of problems with the junk they sell.
The company claims they build them there at their 'factory' when all they do is assemble the trailer.
Buyer Beware....

Thanks, we shall see, since I placed an order this week with them. I will try to post a review on it, good or bad.

Well I am glad to say that I am very happy with my purchase. Yes it is made in China, yes the grease fittings are not standard size and there were two missing lugnuts ( they quickly sent me five replacements) the shipping company made arrangements to have it delivered when I was available to accept it and the trailer was not bad at all to assemble by myself.
My wife and i just got back from a 1000 mile trip and other than there being a glitch in my electrical system that causes me to blow a fuse for fuel and temp gauges and running lights, I have no complaints. The trailer pulls nicely from 35mph to 75mph, and has more than enough room to carry anything we need or dont really need. We got in heavy rain and it also appeared to not have any water in it.
I am sure there are nicer and more expensive trailers out there, but I am very happy with my little trailer. It also turns lots of heads as we travel by. I highly recommend the USA Trailer Store. They were prompt in emailing documents for the trailer within 48hrs. Of ordering and the trailer was shipped to my front door within 6 days, and that was free, or at least included in the price of the trailer.

I looked at their site. It is a nice looking little trailer with a very reasonable price. Don't know how you can go wrong unless the wheel bearings are Chinese but they should be easily replaceable. The glitch with the electrical system may be the trailers fault too, that is something you will have to investigate.

I recently purchased this trailer you referenced. I had great experience with the company. The trailer was delivered on time. The instructions that came with the trailer was simple. Took me approximately 3 hours to assemble. The trailer performs to my expectation. I pull the trailer with my 2004 GL1800 trike.
