No neutral light, won’t start after using reverse.

Post by Klh » Sun Apr 07, 2019 9:21 pm

After using reverse on my 97 Goldwing I was not able to get a neutral light therefore I could not use the starter even by pulling in the clutch. The only way I can start the bike is by pushing it and pop the clutch. I have tried numerous times the reverse handle with no luck. Any suggestions greatly appreciated please be specific.

Switch behind the tupperware on reverse handle mechanism is likely stuck or otherwise out-of-whack. Tupperware will have to come off to get to the switch to get it back "in-whack"...

It's a fairly common failure point, and Cyclemax carries them in stock for exactly that reason.
