Looks real good, how much of a change in seating position was there going back to an original seat? Looks like you now sit a little higher.
Winging it every chance I get 8-)

19,119 miles when I got it from dad Oct 15, 2017 --- 25,245 miles and counting as of Mar 23, 2019!

I feel a little higher, but I also feel like I'm sitting up straighter naturally instead of having the back rest pushing me forward. The most important thing is the wife likes it much better. :)

I still have the old seat so maybe I'll work on my reupholstering skills.

Looks good Doug!
We use the OEM seat and I took the backrest off for the wife to have more room.

Thanks Dave, she does have more room, but the driver back rest had a pocket for her water bottle and phone. Guess I need to come up with something else to hold her water and phone, she wasn’t happy when I said phone can stay in the coat pocket.

Yay it’s snowing again in Chicago. :(.

She can chose the side she wants it on.

We have had sunshine and 75°-85° days, but the wind started blowing yesterday and the temp dropped into the 50°s over night. Should be back to great weather by Easter weekend.

Looks like she will be getting an Easter basket after all

I’ll take 50 any day, The only good thing about snow I April is it usually melts with in a day or two and it will be back in the upper 30s which is good enough for me to ride.

To the best of my knowledge it is a stock Honda Seat. I bought it on eBay from Everett Powersports.

I've bought parts on eBay from these guys before, then it occurred to me that I could simply ride there and get the parts seeing that they're only a short ride away, doh!

Lucky you, I don't have any large enough suppliers near me for a short ride. The dealerships around me are all small locations with a very limited parts department. Now if you're talking a weekend trip I can get up to hondapartshouse aka Babbits up in the Muskegon MI area. The wife has lots of family up in that area.
