How does the Suzuki Burgman 400 compare in the Acceleration department?

I am thinking about getting one to take with me in our Toy Hauler...
the GL1800's weight of 950# upsets the RV's weight and balance so badly, that it causes the trailer to wig wag behind my truck, unless I use extreme measures to counteract that rear end Dead Weight.

Color also helps on a bike. My 1988 was gray and I had more cages pull out in front of me on that wing than any others. The girl that pulled out 20’ from me, when my 88, the car and myself were totaled, said she didn’t see me at all. I was about 30’ in front of about 7 cars and trucks running 50 mph and gaining speed. She said she only saw them and was trying to beat them across the highway.
I have noticed more people see my current bike, red, and I wear a white, blue and black mesh jacket.
