Mass RMV certainly had not performed their duties. But everyday I check the newspaper there is a least one arrest for operating after suspension. Very high percentage drive anyway.

While I am not defending the truck driver in any way (he should not have been driving - that we know), I will hold my comments until after the investigation. That year/model truck just had a recall for the draglink. A draglink failure certainly could have contributed to his inability to control his vehicle. We won't know for certain until the report is finished.

I heard on the news today that authorities, investigating this unbelievable tragedy, have determined that the truck driver was high on drugs, and apparently while reaching for a drink, lost it,and crossed into the oncoming lane. He hit the group of innocent bikers head-on, and you know the rest.

I am ashamed to say this but the first thought that went through my mind when I read that was I have some drugs for him that involve being strapped to a table and in the presence of witnesses. I am big on forgiving but this is the reason I am also so down on legalizing drugs. People are stupid enough without chemical help.

Yes, the Mass RMV has been negligent on processing out of state DUI cases for more than 15 years. They are more interested in catering to illegal aliens and welfare recipients than to care about taking unsafe drivers off the road, after all, many of them are the same people. We call them democrats.
As for me, I've had time to think and have yet to come to a conclusion as to what his punishment should be, the Ten Commandments include Thou shalt not kill. So if we put him in jail for life, due to over crowding he gets released early and then is back on the street to kill again. Why not give him a full frontal lobotomy then he'll be a shoe-in to beat Elizabeth Warren at the next election!

I need to apologize for my outburst. There is no need to bring personal feelings or politics into this forum. Guess I had a bad day. I'll try not to do this again.

I'm offended you felt the need to apologize.

Just kidding. :D But it really does seem that bad online sometimes!
