Speed and Flow

Post by OleGrumpy »

I've noticed on page 31 of the Navigation System Manual there is a mention to Speed and Flow. "Sets whether the system shows the driving speed and flow on the map screen." Then down below, Note: "Speed and Flow are optional. Consult your dealer for details."

It would be nice to see the driving speed on the map screen. Has anyone contacted a dealer?

Must be, I don't have Navi on my 1800 so I can't help you.

Ok, guys. I went to my local Honda dealer today and the best we can tell is that Speed and Flow is a function of the SiriusXM connection. So, if any of you that have a SiriusXM subscription, please let us know if you can see your speed on your maps.

This is the live traffic data that comes from the Sirius data feed, similar to how Google Maps shows traffic speed and flow on their maps when your phone has an active data connection.
