COOLANT LEAK PROBLEM

Has any one had a problem with coolant leak around this plug . only leaks when it very cold and seats for a time could ride it all day and it wouldn't leak. it is very green around plug have not caught it leaking yet. have a picture of it on the trike and a picture of a spare parts engine with rusty plug .has anybody else had this problem

It's very hard to tell what 'plug' you are referring to in the picture and not a good description of where it is, which side, front or rear of the engine??? The picture doesn't really show a coolant puddle. It looks like green corrosion to me more than antifreeze.

Most antifreeze leaks, on the top of the engine are from loose hose clamps on the wings. The colder weather causes the metal the hoses are put onto to shrink smaller. Have you tightened the hose clamps yet?

Enlarged this is the only green I see which looks more like corrosion

this is just to the left of the thermostat housing at the front of the left side of the engine .coolant seems to leak directly below this plug
