Worn Passenger Footrest “boots”

Anyone have an idea for replicating the collapsible rubber boots covering the scissor mechanism under the passenger footrests? Mine have completely worn through (footrests still raise & lower just fine).

The right one is still available through Partzilla. Also on Ebay.
Here are the part numbers:

50855-MT8-770 CVR, L. PILLION STEP
50755-MT8-770 CVR, R. PILLION STEP

Thx MikeB, however I can’t believe the rubber boot wld be priced more than the whole footrest & mechanism (was $72, now still a whopping $53 for one boot?). No pictures avail and eBay seller couldn’t be contacted using the listed part number(?).
Since only the R-side available from either above sources anyway, think I could actually fabricate the covers out of an old inner tube, if nothing else.
