83 linked brake question

Post by Jag » Sun Mar 15, 2020 11:03 am

Hi guys my brothers 83 aspy I rebuilt got taken out by a car so we got him another one post his recovery etc. Now in the process of redoing brakes yet again. The braking system on this cycle though had a TON of sludge and even hard crap in both the masters and the calipers. I am actually replacing the flexible lines with steel braid but I KNOW I need to clean out the metal lines linking the front and rear calipers. The question is can I just use brake cleaner and compressed air followed by brake fluid and compressed air or will the compressed air somehow damage the PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE at all??? I would RATHER not remove the metal lines completely if it isnt necessary. Thanks

I would use the 18-20 inch air nozzle and do what you are suggesting.
