GL1800 ABS ECU ignition module

Post by Skull Riders »

Im planning to replace my dead
38770-MCA-A41 from my 2005 GL1800 ABS, thinking buying a used 38770-MCA-A21 from a 2004 GL1800 ABS.
Does anyone knows that it should work or not ????
The 2001 to 2003 seems slighly different frpm the 2005 units, But the connection port of the 2004 & 2005 looks the same.

Anybody can help me with this dilema

The earlier model ECM should work, but there may be some difference in emissions with the older unit. Your best bet is to get a new one and not risk a used one. www.partzilla,com

The Part OEM Part Number for the

2005 is: 38770-MCA-A41

2004 is: 38770-MCA-A21
It ain't the destination but the getting there. You are not lost until you run out of gas.
